~Cookies from cake mix recipe~?

So here in Iowa we had an ice/snow storm and it was terrible! My husband walked to work (it was that bad and living in a court, there's only one way to drive out) and I'm here with 2 little girls..My neighbor was out snowblowing our sidewalk AND driveway..(she's a widow and I'm guessing around 50 or 60 years old!) I couldn't believe it! We moved in about a year ago and really haven't said much to each other..So, here's my question, without taking 2 little ones out in the ice, I wanted to do something for my neighbor..Of course I used the vanilla icing the other night..UGH..I have devil's food cake mix and chocolate frosting, so I thought I'd take over some cookies..I can only find recipes that call for the cookies made from devil's food cake W/O the pudding in it..Well, the box I have does have pudding in the mix..Does anyone know how to make cookies from a cake mix?~Cookies from cake mix recipe~?
Looks like you got your answer from Pillsbury, but I thought I would share this recipe I tried. I usually don't care for cake mix cookies, but really loved this one:~Cookies from cake mix recipe~?
Hope this will help.....

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies - Using Cake Mix!

Talk about an easy recipe for kids' to participate ... but BEWARE it can be messy!

1 chocolate cake mix (w/ pudding or extra moist)

1 large egg

2 cups non-dairy whipped topping

1 cup powdered sugar

Non-stick spray

1. Preheat oven to 350掳 F and spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

2. Mix ingredients together until completely mixed (it will be tough to mix when all ingredients get fully blended). Dough will be STICKY.

3. Spray your hands with a non-stick cooking spray, take a heaping teaspoon of dough, place it into your hand, and roll it into a ball. Roll the ball in powdered sugar and place on the cookie sheet about 1'; apart.

4. Bake for 8-10 minutes. You want the bottom of the cookie to be just golden brown and the cookies, even while baked, will be soft. When the cookies cool, they will be chewy. Or you can bake it a little longer to make them more solid. It's up to you.

I have made this recipe using a lemon cake mix and then refrigerated them for a cool summertime treat! A neat alternative might be to push your thumb into each of the lemon ones before baking and then adding a tiny dallop of raspberry jam in the center.
do you have cream cheese?

mix any cake mix with 1 pkg. of cream cheese and 1 t. of vanilla and 1 egg, bake at about 350 degrees until they are just getting brown on the bottom or a little less if you want them really chewy and thats it!
TENDER SUGAR COOKIES

1 cup butter

1 1/4 cups sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

Beat butter in bowlfor 30 seconds. add 1 cup of the sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour. If necessary, cover and chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes our until dough is easy to handle.

Preheat oven to 300 f. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in the remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated aobut 15 minutes or until tops are slightly crackled and sides are set ( do not let edges brown). Transfer cookies to wire racks and let cool. Makes 60 cookies.

For a colorful platter of cookies, roll the dough balls in different colored sugars instead of the white sugar.

Store by separating on waxed paper in an airtight container. cover. Store at room temperature up to 3 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
You could just make plain old chocolate chip cookies. They're easy. [:
