CHERRY CHEESECAKE





INGREDIENTS


1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust


1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened


1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk


1/3 cup lemon juice


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling


DIRECTIONS


Place softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl; add condensed milk, lemon juice, and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Pour mixture into the pie crust. Chill for 5 hours. DO NOT FREEZE!!!


Pour cherry pie filling on top of pie. Serve.

GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST





INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers


1/4 cup sugar


1/3 cup butter, melted


DIRECTIONS


In a small bowl, combine the crumbs and sugar; add butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-in. pie plate.


Refrigerate for 30 minutes before filling, or bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack before filling.

INGREDIENTS


Graham Cracker Crust


1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs


1/4 cup margarine, softened


1/4 cup sugar


Filling


1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese


1 cup powdered sugar


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 cup heavy cream, whipped


1 (12.5 ounce) can cherry pie filling (or other filling of your choice)


DIRECTIONS


Mix together graham cracker crumbs, margarine, and sugar in a bowl until well incorporated and crumbly. Press into a pie plate, going up the sides as much as possible.


Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and spreadable. Whisk whipped cream into cream cheese mixture until smooth. Pour cream cheese into prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula, and refrigerate until firm, about 2 to 3 hours. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese; softened


1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk


1/3 cup lemon juice


1 tsp. vanilla extract


1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling; chilled





In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy; gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla; pour into pie crust. Chill 3 hours or until set. Top with desired amount of pie filling before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
If you want super easy and good tasting, buy the Jello brand, everything you need in one box. Or you can always borrow mom's cookbook...
the very first receipe is a good one, but add 1 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese...it makes for a better taste and texture...I would give my receipe, but I can't find it anywhere :/
