Microwave Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
Flour 3/4 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Eggs 2
Baking Powder 1 1/2 Tbsp
Vanilla Essense 1 tsp
Cocoa powder 1 1/2 Tbsp
Warm water 1/4 cup
A pinch of Salt
Method
1. Sift the Dry Ingredients (maida and baking powder).
2. Dissolve the cocoa in the warm water.
3. Beat the eggs and sugar until well blended and creamed.
4. Add the oil, vanilla essense and warm water (mixed with cocoa powder) and mix well. Finally add the flour and fold into the egg mixture.
5. Grease a cake tin and pour this batter into it.
6. Microwave this cake for 5 minutes on high.
7. Cool it and decorate with cofee icing or your choice.I want a simple microwave recipe for chocolate cake. (Pl. note mine doesn't have the convection option)?
MICROWAVE HERSHEYS CHOCOLATE CAKE
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
2/3 c. hot water, divided
3/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. oil
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Grease a round micro-proof dish, 7 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch or 8 x 1 1/4 inch. Line bottom with plastic wrap. In small micro-proof bowl, combine cocoa and 1/3 cup hot water. Microwave on High 40 to 50 seconds or until hot and slightly thickened. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add oil, remaining 1/3 cup hot water, egg, vanilla and chocolate mixture. beat until batter is smooth and well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Microwave on High 5 to 6 minutes, without turning until cake begins to pull away from sides. (Some moist spots may remain but will disappear on standing). Let stand 5 minutes. Invert onto plate. Peel off plastic, cool. Frost.
EASY COCOA FROSTING:
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 1/3 c. confectioners sugar
2 to 3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Easy Microwave Chocolate Cake
INGREDIENTS
* 3 tablespoons butter, softened
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1 egg
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/4 cup milk
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
* 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 pinch salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Spray a medium microwave-safe bowl with non-stick spray and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and milk; blend together. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt; blend into the mixture until smooth. Pour into greased bowl.
2. Cover and cook in the microwave on high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until cake springs back when touched. Since all microwaves cook differently, adjust the cooking time to accommodate your machine. To serve, let the cake cool five minutes, then cover the bowl with a plate and turn both bowl and plate upside down so the cake falls onto the plate.
tried and tested by me... this things works..... i have made it several times..... just follow the measurements...
MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE IN MICROWAVE OVEN
1/4 c. (1/2 stick butter)
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate syrup
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Beat until thoroughly blended. Pour into an 8-inch square or round glass baking dish. Cook, uncovered, 7 minutes in microwave oven.
Microwave cooking times are approximate. Cooking time varies with the model of microwave oven.
Check if the cake is cooked by putting a toothpick or a knife in the centre of the cake... if the knife or toothpick come out clean.... that means ur cake cooked well and is ready to be served.
