The crab dip ideas are great ones. I also use canned crab to make seafood enchiladas, lasagna, and quesadillas. I make stuffing with the crab meat and stuff mushrooms or artichokes for great appetizers. I have added crab meat to creamy/cheesy soups, stuffed chicken breasts, and used instead of tuna for 'melts'
You can use the crab meat to make a crab salad (cold pasta salad) or maybe use it to stuff salmon or a chicken breast. I know a coworker of mines uses crab meat to make deviled eggs... Good.
Crab dip!! With or without artichokes. Check the Food Network website.
Crab potato salad - just make your regular potato salad recipe, then mix in crab meat. Save big chunks/leg meat or claws for the top. It's best to use dungeness crab for this.
Also crab quiche - use simple quiche recipe, add crab instead of ham or bacon.
Hot crab dip - it's a family recipe that I don't have handy. But it's basically cream cheese, mayo, curry powder, onions, parmesean cheese, and crab meat, you put it in a casserole dish and heat till bubbly and lightly brown on top. Similar to artichoke dip.
i would think you could use it in just about anything that calls for fish, but i've used it to make a mix similar to tuna or chicken salad and it was pretty good on crackers
i'd just throw it in whatever interests you though, give it a shot, if you don't like how it comes out, don't eat it and try something different next time
